Redondo is an excellent site for training or practice. There is a shallow line running at about 50 feet of depth, and a deep line that goes to 100 feet of depth.

To find the starting point of these surface swim following the dock until you're under the aquarium, and then descend.

In August six gill sharks are sometimes sighted here along the deep line. Notable features are also the carousel horse (deep line), and the remnants of a VW bug (shallow line).
