We will be working with the O'Hara Corporation assisting with dumpsters and cranes to clean up the old Divers Institute of Technology site along the Lake Washington Ship Canal.

About the event
This is the old location of Divers Institute of Technology (DIT) in Ballard. It's on the ship canal. We were contacted by friends at O'Hara Corp. They're the new owners of the facility. WSA has been asked to do a clean-up of the debris surrounding the new pier area. Let's get out there and do a part for a good business owner. They will assist with dumpsters, cranes, etc. We believe we can do this with a gaggle of good divers doing two dives (maybe 3 dives?) Throw in some topside folks and...Diver Bob's your Uncle! Bring those big bags to help. We'll have lift bags too! This could be the start of some fun clean-up dives along the Lake Washington Ship Canal.
Yes, the water is safe to dive in. We did confirm with King County Health and Seattle Health Dept's. It's just fine! Please join us on SATURDAY JULY 15
